Ba muoi năm Nhân trao tay
Thirty years the Ring passed to hand
Biết bao tinh nghia đêm ngay chăng phai
So much love and duty, day and night unfading
Nhân tay chi co bê ngoai
The ring on hand is only the outer form
Nhân long đang gia nêu ai biêt gin
The ring in the heart is precious if one knows to keep it
Nghia tinh đau viêc van xin
Love and duty are not matters for begging
Đông tâm biêt giu thi gin đuoc lâu
United in heart, knowing to keep, it lasts long
Giâu sang lâm chuyên nhuc đâu
Wealth and rank cause troubles and shame
Quyên cao lâm chuyên sâu âu bât thuong
High power causes sorrow and misfortune
Muôn cho ai cung mên thuong
To have everyone love and cherish
Tin trung lê nghia la đuong phai theo
Faith, loyalty, propriety are the path to follow

So many years crossing streams and passes

So many years toiling, all struggles done

The two partners resolved together

Gratitude to father, mother, and teacher

So much effort teaching, only today did we become
Ngư dân, gian tiếp, năm canh
Fishermen, indirectly, through the five night-watches
Để ta được hưởng phúc lành, tháng năm
So that we enjoy blessings through the months and years
Nhớ ai, giúp đứng, giúp nằm
Remembering whoever helped us stand, helped us lie down
Giúp tiền viện trợ, quanh năm, quá nhiều
Helping with aid money, all year round, so much
